Utilizing a three–phase system, the professionals at Papro Wine Cellars & Consulting will take the client–approved designs (drawn up in the previous “Design” stage of the process), and turn them into reality.
Phase 1: Preparing the Room for Wine Cellar Construction
In Phase 1, “Preparing the Room for Wine Cellar Construction,” the construction professionals from Papro Wine Cellars & Consulting will make sure that the area designated for the wine cellar is properly prepared with all of the necessary components and installations. This preparation must be done correctly in order for the rest of the construction process to run smoothly and to ensure that the completed wine cellar functions as intended.
- Use of Proper Insulation
- Placement of Electrical Outlets
- Installation of Drain
- Ceiling Reinforcement (for Cable Wine System installations only)
Phase 2: Building the Wine Cellar
In Phase 2, “Building the Wine Cellar,” the wine cellar gets constructed. Installation of the cooling unit, wine racking, door system, and other features and finishes occurs during this phase. Simply put, this is when you’ll see the wine cellar you’ve been waiting for being created right before your eyes.

- Installation of Ceiling, Wall and Floor Finishes
- Installation of Cooling Unit
- Installation of Wine Racking
- Installation of Selected Features

Phase 3: After the Build
Phase 3 “After the Build” signals the completion of the wine cellar. During this phase, a Papro Wine Cellar specialist will visit the completed wine cellar with the client to ensure that they understand all of the features available, as well as provide tips on how to properly maintain the room. Papro Wine Cellars & Consulting also provides a 1–Year preventive maintenance program for the wine cellar cooling system at no cost, to ensure that the cooling system continues to function properly over time.
